Matthew McKinney, Treasurer

Matthew McKinney is the owner of Mt. Nittany Outfitters, an online-based outdoor retail store and fish guiding service. He is currently studying toward a dual-title PhD in Recreation, Park and Tourism Management and Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and the Environment, at The Pennsylvania State University. 

In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, fly-fishing, road biking, skiing and adventures travel around the world. He has traveled to Northern India in the Himalayas as an instructor with the International Mountain Leadership Institute. Matthew spent several months, along with fellow board member Joe Knight, on an International tour with the band Jars of Clay, working to promote Blood:Water Mission, an organization that empowers communities to work together against the HIV/AIDS and water crisis in Africa. Matthew values education because it has been and continues to be cornerstone to his academic and career aspirations.
